"Hi, I'm Mark Sullivan for Expert Village and today we're going to teach you how to change the oil in a standard internal combustion automobile engine. The oil should be changed, I generally change my oil about 4 times per year. Especially at the end of the summer. It seems like the summers here is really a hurt on your motor oil. But it's worth it to change your oil. It's better to change it too often than not often enough. So now we have installed another quart of oil and we'll put the filler cap back on and withdraw the dipstick. Wipe it off, put it back in, check our reading again. And it is indicating to be at the proper level at the very top of the checkered area and that indicates full. So we now put our dipstick back in."
