"Hi, I'm Mark Sullivan for Expert Village and today we're going to teach you how to change the oil in a standard internal combustion automobile engine. While the oil filler cap is off, please ensure that no foreign objects enter the crank case or the valve cover. Okay, so now we're going to continue adding fresh oil into the motor. This is a 20w50. Here in Texas we are more concerned with the heat factors so I do use the 50 so it will not break down at high temperatures. I do also get a premium grade of oil. So we're going to continue adding, this would be our third quart of oil. I'm going to put probably 4 quarts in, lower the vehicle, start it up, check the oil level and then add the final oil to bring it up to the proper level and then we'll be finished with the oil change."
