"Hi, I’m Dean Donnel for expertvillage.com. What I’m going to talk about now is regular car maintenance. The reason it’s important to do regular car maintenance on your car is to keep it in good shape and lasting a long time. If you don’t do your maintenance, your cars life is cut short. Today we did an oil change and a filter, which I recommend to be done every 3 months or 2,000 miles but also you need to check other things on your car. All your fluids, your transmission oil, check your breaks, you need to up keep everything on the car to keep it in good shape and lasting a long time. Okay and remember when you pull out in the morning look on your car to see if there’s any spots under there, if you have a rusty colored spot on the ground, chances are your radiator is leaking. If you have a dark colored spot on the ground, chances are you got an oil leak. If you have a pinkish, reddish color your transmission is leaking. You need to check everything and the best thing to do also is check, check under the hood weekly. By doing this you can avoid a costly repair and catch the problem before it gets really bad. If you up keep all the care the car the needs it will last you a long time. Just like this car which has over 100,000 miles on it, remember do regular maintenance and you’ll have a pleasant driving experience."
