"Hi, I’m Dean Donnel and today I’m representing expertvillage.com. Now we’re going to talk about the tools we need to do the oil and filter change. You’re going to need an oil filter wrench which is used to take your oil filter off, of course and you’re also going to need different tools such as this ratchet and three different sockets. I have out here are the standard ones that are used on most cars or on some cars you might use a crescent wrench. We have the floor jack over here, which of course is used to raise the car and these jack stands here to support the car. I use a metal oil pan for draining the oil, you could pick up at any local auto parts store. You can use whatever you have though, plastic, anything’s fine. These two funnels are needed and we’re going to use this first one here to put the cleaner oil in the car and the reason why I use a funnel is because it’s a lot cleaner, you don’t make a mess and things work a lot better. The second one we’re going to use to drain the old oil in containers to take it away and have it recycled. These are the tools we need to do the oil change and filter today."
