"Now we are ready to change the oil filter. The can be easy to find or it can be kind of hard to find. With this particular model, the oil filter is in back of the engine about halfway up. Some of the oil filters could be on the very front of the engine. They are usually going to be in the front or the back. And if you are having trouble finding it, it never hurts to look at the new oil filter so you know exactly what you are looking for. It might be a different color but it is going to be the same size and shape. Once you locate that, you want to adjust your filter wrench to whatever size is going to work on the oil filter itself. When you grab the oil filter, those little ribs on the outer edge, you want to grab those and it is going to loosen just like anything else, counter clockwise. You can usually get a couple of turns, loosen it up a little bit. From there you can finish turning out with your hand, try to keep your arm our from underneath it like what I just did there to keep the oil from going all over you and just spin that all the way out. If you have room when you get the oil filter out, you want to tilt it up because there is still going to be oil in the filter. The filter won't drain out completely while it is on the vehicle. "

I always spill oil when performing this task....The product is called Oil Gone Easy Home and Driveway S-200. You can read about the product on Wiki. Oil Gone Easy has actually been used to clean up major oil spills such as the Valdez in Alaska. Finally - a green way to clean up your spills! Hope this helps.
