"Now that we have the back of the car jacked up to the height that we want, you notice that if you look down to the side of the car the car is sitting at a fairly level in a fairly level position. That is exactly what we are trying to achieve here same was as if it were sitting on the ground. So now we have to put our jack stands in place to make sure the vehicle is secure and safe to be under. The back of the front wheel drive car is a little different to find a good place for a jack stand from time to time. You have your trailing arms. This is a little sway bar. Under this suspension, you don't want to use any of this suspension with the jack stand on and not place it here on any of these locations. What you can look for is the cross member that we have the car jacked up on. When it comes out to the side where these large brackets are very strong and that is a structural part of the vehicle, we are going to place the jack stand under that area. Raise the jack stand up to the height desired and we always want to ease the jack down and make sure that the car is sturdy after you are done. I'm going to take another look at them under the vehicle and make sure it is all sturdy and safe and we are ready to change the oil. "
