"In this clip we're going to talk about the proper way to remove and replace a burned out headlight on a 2000 Dodge Stratus. In this step we're going to talk about the proper way to disconnect the headlight bulb from the electrical connector. As you can see it has a little access hole cut here in the retaining fixture and there's a little plastic tab. That is the retainer which connects the bulb to the electrical components of the car. You can either use a small screwdriver or your thumb. You want to take and depress that so that it releases the safety catch and slide the bulb off. And that is the proper way to remove the headlight bulb from the electrical connector."
