"DOUG JENKINS: Hi. I'm Doug. I work with 20 great guys in Saint Louis at Doug Jenkins' Custom Hot Rods, and we're going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. Next, Mark is going to paint and rustproof that stuff, the welding he's done there. A couple of important things here; we've painted the axle on this car and a good bit of the chassis, the part you can see with POR-15, it's a rustproofing epoxy. And so he's grounded that off. And now he needs to replace that, the axle's ability to resist rust, so he's using a self-etching paint on there. It's a one-step process. It's called trim black. And we use it on a lot of little things like this so we can get just a quick coat of paint on there to protect it and make it look good. If we were going to get serious, we can get in there and brush it with the POR-15, but it's not worth that."
