"DOUG JENKINS: Hi. I'm Doug. I work with 20 great guys in St. Louis at Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods and we're going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. The next thing is to put the axles back in the rear differential. Mark's going to wipe them off real carefully to get any dirt that might have gotten on them and push them in and out. He's going to be very careful putting this in so as not to wipe out that new seal. You can take that rough axle and do some damage to that pretty easily. You have to push and pull a little bit to get the splines lined up as it goes into the differential. Remember, we had to push it in a little bit to get those C-clips loosened. Now, he'll be putting the C-clip in the rear end and pushing the axle out just a little bit to hold that in place. And we'll watch the other axle coming in now. Mark's pushing it in the left side of the axle housing, and we'll see it protrude through here, and he'll push it in a little bit there so you can get the C-clip in place. So, you just slide that in. It doesn't have to be up or down or anything just as long as this stays in there 'cause the axle turned. So as he got the C-clip in there, he held it with his finger and pulled the axle with his other hand to get the C-clip retained."
