"Hi, I'm Doug. I work with twenty great guys in St. Louis at Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods and we're going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. Mark's next step is to put the car on the rack. They have the levelers there, little extenders you can put on the pads of the lift, to get it at exactly the right height so you can lift the car square. Mark chose good places to lift the car from, a GTO, a nice little car like this, has a full frame on it so you can grab it anywhere you want along this frame. So he's grabbing it, you know pretty far back, pretty far forward. The further back he goes the longer he has to extend the arm, so it gets less and less stable so he's made a compromise here. Mark will take the car a few inches off the ground and grab it and give it a good shake, make sure he's got all the pads touching and it's safe to get under it; so he can run it up and get his work done."
