"Hi, I'm Doug. I work with 20 great guys in St. Louis at Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods and we're going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. Now Andy's applying the second coat of black on this. The first layer of material we put on was a primer as a rust proof and because primer sticks to anything. Paint sticks only to primer. And now Andy will be able to put a really heavy coat on. If you watched carefully in the first clip he had real short passes with the gun. Now he's really going to dump some material on there. The paint runs pretty easy on primer but once you have one coat of paint on there and the paint is a little bit tacky you can really hose that second coat of paint on there and get a real good even finish. He's hitting it a lot of times from a lot of different angles because painting a small piece like this is real tricky. You end up with little shadows where you didn't quite get it. If we were doing a larger job that was more critical, he'd be wearing a full lynch free suit and a helmet. Wearing special bags over his shoes and everything but with these small pieces they're just brake calipers, they're not out there in the open at a car show or something, he's being a little bit more laid back about it."
