"Hi, I'm Doug and I work with 20 great guys in St. Louis, at Doug's Jenkins Custom Hot Rod and we're going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. Andy's doing a letdown panel right now; he's going to spray the black base coat off on a paper card that's meant specifically for this. He puts a little paint on there and he keeps the air flowing on it and then adds a little more paint. We get these cards from our paint supplier and what he's trying to do is get a base reference point. He's going to make this black then he will shoot the calipers black when it comes time to come back with the candy coat he will be able to have a panel here as a test panel. He'll put some candy on the panel so if he's screws up, if it?s the wrong mixture it doesn't look bad on the caliper; it looks bad on a piece of paper. Now Andy's cleaning again and again and again any lint off of the pieces. That's called a letdown panel because you get real excited about the color you making, you shoot it on that, and it doesn't turn out quite the way you want it to. A real let down."
