"Hi! I'm Jake Breyck and today on behalf of Expert Village, I am going to show you how to install a custom car intake. To get insulation of your intake, you want to start by locating the stock intake which is characterized by a tube leading to the throttle body. The location and size of the intake will vary depending on the make and model of your vehicle. Once you find that, you want to begin removing the hoses that are going into the tube of the air intake and you can use your pliers to remove your hoses carefully. Be careful when you are doing it because if you are not, it could damage the hoses and lead to a vacuum leak. "
