"Hi my name is Nate McCullough on behalf of Expert Village. In the following clips we're going to talk about the proper way to repack, grease, and adjust your vehicles wheel bearings. In this clip I'm going to talk about spinning off the vehicles lug nuts and removal of the tire. If your like me and you don't have an air compressor there are a couple different ways to get these off relatively quickly. We're going to use the weight of the tire to assist us in spinning off the lug nuts. I'll demonstrate here, alright now as you can see what I'm doing is just holding my tire iron still and spinning the wheel just like so. What that does is avoid me having to twist the wrench. On this particular vehicle I'm going to be replacing the lug nuts due to prior miss installation by the previous owner. Normally a lug nut lasts a life time of the vehicle, you will never have to replace it unless you loose it. You'll want to be a little careful with the last one if you can see my wheel is loose. Take and rotate the lug nut up to the twelve o'clock position, spin all the way around with your tire iron. Alright like I said normally your not going to be replacing your lug nuts but as you can see my have been severely mushroomed. Your going to want to take these and set them aside in a good location, put them in your pocket, take our wheel off roll it out of the way. And that is the proper way to spin off your lug nuts and remove your tire."
