"Today we're changing an air conditioning compressor on a '96 Ford Explorer. In this step, I'm going to demonstrate the proper service procedure for reinstalling your vehicle's cold air intake. What I have here in this duct work assembly is the cold air intake. It takes and routes the entrance to the intake manifold away from the hot central location of the motor and draws air from outside the engine compartment. The first things you're going to do is take and slip it in the throttle body using a slight rotating motion. Now you're not going to want to tighten the hose clamp until you have it all the way installed. We have one electrical connector to deal with right here. I'm going to take and slip it in and listen for a clicking sound when it engages. Right there. We have another electrical connector to deal with right here. I'm going to take and go ahead and rotate it so the alignment tabs line up with the holes and slide it together. Just like so. Once you have that connected, I'm going to take and compress it slightly to line up our air filter box. Right there, you can see how the tab went together here and here. I'm going to take and tighten the clamp just like so. Once you have that done, you can take and go ahead and install the vent hose on your oil fill neck. Once you have it all in place, you're going to go ahead and tighten down the clamp on your throttle body. There you go. That is the proper service procedure for reinstalling the cold air intake onto your engine."
