"Hi I'm Doug, I work with 20 great guys in Saint Lois at Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods. We are going to do some work with you today on expert village. Now we are going to clean up the oil pan, get it ready for paint. Mark's using a variety of different solvents; we might start with something like lacquer thinner, just some heavy cleaner there. They when they manufacture the oil pans any pressed steel products they use a mold release. They lubricate the steel so it doesn't gall the steel when they form it. They leave it on there for shipping so it doesn't get to rusty. So he will use some lacquer thinner to start with, then maybe some wax and grease remover to get it nice and clean so the paint sticks. Produce it, reserve it from rusting it is a good idea to paint stuff like this."
