Hi, I'm Doug, I work with twenty great guys in St. Louis at Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods and we're going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. This clip is pretty important; all we're going to do here is turn the motor over. But Mark here is in his mid forties and he's still got lots of fingers and toes. So you will see how slowly and carefully he do this. He's done it dozens of times, engines don't normally fall over but he's taking it real seriously. Making sure his work area is clean, making sure that he's not going to fast for the thing so it doesn't get a bunch of momentum and spill the motor. The reason he's rolling it over is we have to replace the oil pan. The ford that we're putting this engine in is set up for a front sump oil pan and the Chevy comes stock with a rear sump pan. So it's really simple and convenient to do it on its back side like this.
