"Have you ever wondered how they get your paint to match so that it looks exactly like it did before the accident? Well this is it, this is called the pain mixing station. There are just probably 50, 60 colors here. These are your base colors, and these are your toning colors. And they have tons of these match strips. Most interestingly though, this is how it's done scientifically. Every vehicle has a paint code either on the door, in the truck, and that code gives them, right here on this computer, a very specific formula. And that formula tells them how many grams of each color to add and they come to this scale and they put a paint can here using these colors. They dial in that color, they mix it and then once they have it done they stir it. They take a sample and they go to your car and they put it right on your car, right on your paint to see how it matches. And once they have that completed, they add any minor alterations that need to be done, just a little bit of this color, a little bit of that color until they dial it in perfectly and that's how they do it."
