In this clip, we're going to talk about the proper way to diagnose and repair your rear defroster grid. In this clip, we're going to talk about verification of our rear defroster grid repair. As you can see here, is where we made our repair at. You're going to want to wait twenty-four hours before you turn your defroster on to test this. If you turn it on beforehand, the electricity running through here will break down that compound and cause a premature failure. You'll then have to go back through and sandpaper this off and re-perform the repair procedure. What I have here, is my test light. I'm going to use that for verification purposes. I'm going to hook it up to my grounding rivet here. And, I'm going to check on both sides of the repair. Right there, as you can see we have a good strong light. And, on the other side of my repair we have a good strong light as well. Like I said, you're going to want to make sure to wait twenty-four hours before you turn your defroster on to verify your repair. That is the proper way to perform the verification procedure.
