"Hi! My name is Nate McCullough on behalf of expert village.com. In this clip we are going to talk about one of the maintenance items aside from routine adjustment and inspection that can be done for your drive belts. What you are going to want to do is approximately once a year, apply some belt dressing. Application of belt dressing is done with the engine running. Now the engine running, you are going to want to stand out of the way of parallel with your drive belt. If you apply dressing to a moving belt, standing in line with it the action of the belt is going to flick dressing all over you. You are going to want to make sure you are out of the way and just pretty much apply the dressing. Dressing comes in a spray can. Just take it and aim it right down here. You are going to want to hit on this type of belt only the inside and it is dressed just like so. The rotation of the belt is going to apply it to all surfaces just as a natural way it operates, just like that. "
