"Alright, in this clip we're going to talk about the fact that we are working on a lift. You do not need a lift to do this job. You can do it with the bike on the kickstand. If you have one of those portable jacks for bikes, you can do it on that, but it's a little unstable to do that. It does allow you to get to the work area a little better, but since we do have a lift, we are going to use the lift. And, I'm going to explain to you the important thing about using a lift, you definitely have to make sure you have the bike strapped down. Our straps are vinyl coated so we're not scratching any paint, we hook them to the eye hooks right here, tighten them down; they don't have to be incredibly tight, just enough to support the motorcycle. Now, we'll be removing the choke cable, right here. That's an 11/16ths behind there. "You could probably run it loose with your fingers now." You want to be real careful with the choke cable, you don't want to over tighten this when you go to put it back on but now we've got it disconnected so we can pull the carburetor off. And now, we're going to be going over to the carburetor."
