"In this segment we're going to cover removing the electric fan, the cooling fan for the radiator. It's mounted to the radiator with some small 6mm bolts with 10mm heads. There will be two on top, there could be one or two on the bottom and some models even fit into a bracket on the bottom and are just held in place by two bolts at the top. There's also going to be an electrical connector that provides the power to the fan itself that we have to disconnect. We'll go ahead and get the top ones first. You may need to use and extension on the one on the passenger side of the vehicle. Clearance wise, it's a little bit tight to get in there and get clearance with the ratchet on the back side of that fan. So, I'm going to use a short three eighths extension. We'll just set that bolt aside. I'll just change position and remove the extension and get my lower bolt. Once I've got the bolts removed, I want to just slowly wiggle it out and you'll come to a point where you'll get a little bit of accessibility to the lower electrical connector. You'll need to disconnect that. Once we get the electrical connector disconnected, you should be able to tilt it side ways and lift the fan assembly out. We'll just want to set it aside with the three bolts. Now we've got the fan and the air duck assembly out of our way, we've got good accessibility to the drain, petcock, to drain the radiator and the two transmission lines, so we can drain the automatic transmission fluid that goes through the lower portion of the radiator, for the cooler. Please watch our next segment for draining the radiator."
