In this segment we're going to cover installing the steering column cover, part one. First step is take the upper portion and this lay in place on the steering column. The lower portion releases the lever for the tilt assembly, this slide through. It slides up into place, and the upper and lower pieces should snap together and then there will be two set screws that hold them together. So first you want to make sure there aligned correctly, snap together, and then we'll put in the two screws that hold them in place. Kind of wiggle around a little bit until you get them to snap into position. Once you've snapped the upper and lower covers to the steering column together, then we just need to put in the two outer screws that hold the plastic, the top portion to the bottom portion, and then the three machine screws which connect the cover assembly itself to the steering column. Watch our next segment on installing steering Columns, part two.
