"Hi, this is Howard Fleischmann with Community Tire in Phoenix, Arizona on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip we will be removing the fuel pump from the tank itself and preparing for the new pump for installation back into the tank. You see here the technician is removing the ring that holds the fuel pump in the tank, there is a clip that has to be released. Then he carefully removes the pump. He drains the fuel out; again this is a time to be very careful making sure there is nothing around that could cause a flame or a spark. You see the float that controls the fuel gage in an in-tank small fuel filter. In the next clip we will reinstall the pump in the tank."
