"Hi, this is Howard Fleischmann with Community Tire in Phoenix, Arizona on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip we will be removing the fuel tank from the vehicle, and as you can see we place a jack under the tank before we start loosening any bolts; even if you are doing this on jack stands you should have a support just a few inches from the tank. Once you have the jack in position then it's time to start loosening the straps that hold the tank in place. On this vehicle there are two straps and after removing the bolt from the front you can see the tank settle safely onto the jack stands as the rear strap in now removed. Now comes the fun part. You can see even with two men working at it getting the gas tank out of the vehicle can be a bit tricky. This is especially true if your working on jack stands, but as you can see with a little patience and some care the tank comes out nicely. And, now we are ready to remove the fuel pump and that?s what we'll do in our next clip."
