"DOUG JENKINS: Hi. I'm Doug. I work with 20 great guys in St. Louis at Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods, and we're going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. The next bit of trouble we're having here is getting the exhaust headers off. Naturally, we're going to try to do this job as financially and efficiently as possible. So at this point, since our plan is only to remove the cylinder head, we're just going to loosen up the exhaust header so we can snake the head out of there. And there's eight bolts holding it in. They're very close tolerance. The car wasn't designed for nice high-performance headers like these, so the--you want to maximize the size of the exhaust header. You get as much exhaust out of there with as little effort on the engine's part as possible, which means you want to give the bolts as little room as possible. So the mechanic and the engineer are working against each other here, but eventually both will be happy. So we're just going to loosen all these, take these bolts out so we can get the exhaust out of the way. Now Dan has got the header loose. Everything is clear."
