"Hi, I'm Doug. I work with twenty great guys in St. Louis at Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods and we're going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. Okay, now Alex is going to get under there and prepare the underside of the car for the installation of the tank brace; the tank support brace. He's ground away the elecricoats at even intervals along that brace in order to make for good surface for welding. Now, instead of grinding the whole bottom of the trunk floor, he's making marks to correspond where he took the material off of the tank support brace and he's just making marks on the bottom of the trunk floor so he can grind in the exact places he needs it clean instead of grinding the whole bottom of the tank. Just trying to save time and effort and make for a better overall product. The e-coat is a really good rust proofing; we want to leave as much of it in tact as we can."
