"Hi, I'm Doug. I work with twenty great guys in St. Louis at Doug Jenkin's Custom Hot Rods, and we're going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. Alex is going to cut the old rusty trunk floor out of his 67 Le Mans. The first thing he did is lay the new pieces we bought on top of the old trunk floor, and marked it out with black magic marker, so he knows pretty much where to cut. The tool he's using is a plasma cutter. It cuts with an electric current and air blowing over the electric current to blow the molten steel out of the way. Alex is using a plasma cutter and following a black line that he drew freehand. This is not an exact perfect cut, this is really good cut. You need to wear the black safety glasses like Alex has on, since the light from this cutter is bright enough to permanently damage your eyes. There are several tools Alex could have chosen to make this cut. One of them is a pneumatically driven cutoff wheel. That's a more affordable way to do it. You can buy a cutoff tool very cheap. A plasma cutter costs more, but the plasma cutter is very fast. "
