" Hi! This is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip, I will be talking about buying the right coolant. Most cars today use an ethylene glycol based antifreeze; but just to be sure you want to check in the manual that came with your car. Some European made cars will tell you to put phosphate free antifreeze in your car, due to the high mineral content in the water. If you mix their water with antifreeze containing phosphates, it could form deposits in your cooling system. If you still can't figure out which type to use, you can always go into your auto parts store and tell them what kind of car you have, and they will direct you to the right type of coolant that you will want to buy.
