" Hi! This is John on behalf of expertvillage.com. In this video clip, I will be talking about trouble shooting liquids found underneath your car. If you take a look at this liquid on the floor, which is from under my car, if I touch it and look at my finger it is brown, a dark brown liquid. Typically that would probably be oil. If you smell it, it will have a distinct oil smell as well. If you take a look at this fluid under my car, the appearance is that is pink that is a little bit red, pinkish. Typically a red fluid will be transmission fluid and that may not have as distinct of a smell as oil does. The next fluid that I found underneath my car and it had a greenish appearance. It was pretty liquidity like water; however, it has a very sweet smell to it and that would be engine coolant. You would probably be leaking engine coolant. The next liquid I found underneath my car is clear and very liquidity like water. There is no smell to it. I would probably assume that that would be water, probably condensation from the air conditioning system or the exhaust pipe. "
