"In this step we're going to talk about the proper service procedure for jacking up our vehicle off of our jack stands and removing it and settling it back down to the ground. First thing you're going to want to do is make sure that you don't have any thing under the vehicle. I've got my drain pan left over from the trans service, take and slide my jack underneath it and begin jacking. Looking for a very strong part of sub-structure under the vehicle, pretty much the same place where you jacked it from. Pay close attention not to jack the vehicle up by the bottom of the radiator core support or any front end components that may bend or get damaged easily. Once you have the vehicle raised up off of the jacks stands you can take and flip the release levers, and they'll collapse out of your way. Put that aside and flip the other one, right there. Move that out of the way. When you're setting your vehicle down, you're going to want to release the release screw very slowly by turning it counter clockwise, if you were to release it real fast, or suddenly the vehicle's going to come crashing down possibly damaging it, your jack or yourself. So you can see the vehicles beginning to come down very slowly, that's exactly what you're looking for. Alright, that is the proper service procedure for re-raising your vehicle, removing your jack stands, and settling it back to the ground."
