How to Add Motor Oil to a Car Engine

"Hi, I'm Doug, I work with 20 great guys in St. Louis at Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods and we're going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. So Dave is going to go ahead and put oil in the car now. Most cars take 4, 4 to 5 quarts of oil. Add enough oil in there and check the dipstick. Don't try to freehand it. Don't try to be stylish, just get yourself a big funnel. Dave is using an oil that we just get from our local car quest dealer. They buy their oil from Valvoline, it's good stuff and it doesn't have the expensive sticker on it. If your car requires synthetic oil, always use it. Some vehicles don't run correctly if you start messing with the grades of oil. Especially diesels, if you have a diesel car, diesel pickup, they use the motor oil to operate the high pressure injectors and if you have the wrong grade of oil, they don't work correctly so make sure you have the right grade and the right weight of oil."
