"Hi, I'm Doug, I work with 20 great guys in St. Louis at Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods and we're going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. We are going to put the oil filter on now, the new oil filter. It's always best to change the filter whenever you do an oil change. Often an oil filter will have instructions on it that tells you, but if they don't take a little bit of the waste oil, put it on your finger, get the gasket oily and then tighten it up snug. After it goes snug just use your hand and turn it another 3 quarters of a turn. Don't use the tool that you used to pull the filter off to reinstall the filter. It'll destroy the housing and it can cause problems that way. You don't want to tighten, over tighten the oil filter, you'll never get it back off. It's not necessary, it deforms the seal and you're more likely to have oil leak problems. Once you get the filter on there, you're ready to lower the car down and start pouring oil in it."
