"On behalf of ExpertVillage.com we're going to talk to you a little bit today about how to check your fluids under your hood. First of all you look on all the caps, they'll have little descriptions of what they are, this is for window wash right here so you want to remove the cap, fill it with the proper fluid there and fill that up. Okay, this is for dot three brake fluid right here. You can see in the reservoir where the level is and know that that's full. Same thing with your antifreeze right here. You obviously always want to read the caps; you never want to open them when they're hot. Most of these newer vehicles will have full lines that you can read them right there without actually having to remove the caps. That's checking your fluids under your hood."
