"Hi, my name is Jake from Burt Brother Tires and on behalf of expertvillage.com, I'm here to show you today how to properly check your oil. Okay, first of all depending on which vehicle you're driving you want to first of all open the hood. Hit the little lever inside there, open the hood and locate your oil dipstick. Okay, it should be fairly obvious here, you know this is the oil fill area, you'll look around and find a little dipstick and this one actually happens to be in red. You tug on it a little bit there. You always want to wipe it off first, okay because the engine runs and everything like that, it'll change your level a little bit there. Make sure your car is turned off by the way. Stall it one more time, pull it back out. Okay, and go ahead and check the level here. You can see that it's right in between these two lines right here which is in the full level, can really use about a quarter of a quart right here. You want to wipe it off and always double check it. Make sure you're on the proper level. Get similar readings in everything right there. So, this oil level is good, it could use just a little of a quarter of a quart, but we'll go ahead and add that and get you taken care of. But it's very important to check your oil regularly, make sure you always have the proper level."
