"Hi! My name is Dean and on behalf of expertvillage.com, we have successfully changed the oil in our vehicle. Now there is a very important step left and that is the disposal of the oil. Like we talked earlier you could have had a drain pan that doubles as a carrier and you would take that to the parts store where you bought your oil and they will recycle that oil; they will take it and collect it or if you put it in a regular drain pan, as we did, we will need to transfer it into a suitable carrying device such as an old milk jug; two milk jugs in this case. This is 5 quarts and a milk jug is only 4 quarts. No matter what you put it in, you need to take it back to the place that you purchased your new oil and they will take it off your hands for you. As you see, we’ve put our oil in 2 jugs that I had on hand as they would not fit into 1 because it was 5 quarts. I will take that in to my local auto parts store where they collect and recycle old engine oil. "
