"Hello! My name is Christopher Fiffie and I have over 20 years of automotive mechanic. On behalf of Expert Village, we will be talking about how to change a flat tire. After opening the trunk, we will need to locate the jack, the lug nut wrench and the spare tire. Most vehicles will have these tools and also the spare tire right underneath a compartment like here, that so. Here is a jack that we will use to jack up the vehicle. We will need to go ahead and locate the spare tire. This is a slightly smaller tire than what is supposed supplied on the car. It is made this way because it is compact and it can fit in the vehicle and take up the least amount of space. And lastly, we will need to locate the lug nut wrench which looks similar. Be sure to inspect the spare tire to see if it is suitable to use. Notice that this tire does indicate that it is for temporary use only. The tire should only be inflated to 60 PSI. Most tires will indicate the maximum speed when traveling on the road. Because this tire is not the same size as what is supplied by the manufacturer, it is important not to exceed maximum speed indicated on the tire which in some cases could be 45 miles per hour. "
