Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

For the Silver Leaf Fortune Eggs you first need to hollow out your eggs by poking two holes on either side and blowing on the insides. For the Palm Leaf place mats you first need to gather up fallen dead palm trees.

  2. Step 2

For the Eggs, you then need to write out fortunes on small pieces of paper and roll them up and insert them in one of the two already poked holes. For the palms you need to cut them off the main branch so you have several pieces to work with.

  3. Step 3

The eggs then need to be covered in silver leaf - it is very simple just start lightly brushing the silver leaf pieces onto the egg until the entire egg is finished and then Voila! your Fortune Egg is ready to be cracked! For the palms you need to start with two pieces first and start weaving those together and then you add from there until you have the desired size you want. It is important to hot glue the first two together in a couple of spots so you have a good solid base to work with!
