Video Transcript

"Hi, my name is Charlie Labarda. I'm here with Expert Village. We're here to show you how to hunt with bird dogs. At this time we're going to talk about how to use your dog the proper way to hunt and to find a bird. We're out in the field looking for birds, we've got a couple planted in a cage and we're going to show you that in just a moment. Let me call him back to you, he's running behind me. Here! He's just walking back and forth. Here! Time to give him the command. Come, Come! Come, over here! Here, Here! He's looking for birds real hard. He's working his nose. I've got him upwind and he's going to go to my left. I'm going to signal him to go to my right with one whistle. There he goes, he turns around. Here! He's getting birdy. I call it birdy because he's smelling something, the bird real close by. Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! The bird's in a cage. Whoa! And that's what he does when he smells the bird he's on call point. I'm calling him back a little bit. Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!"
