"Hi. My name is Charlie Labarda. I'm here with Expert Village. We're here to show you how to hunt with bird dogs. At this moment, we're going to talk about the weather. The weather plays a very large factor of hunting with dogs and birds. Early in the morning is a good hunt, late evening is a good hunt, mid- afternoon just depending on the temperature. I like to hunt my dog in the temperature of fifty-five all the way to sixty-five, maybe seventy. Seventy and up is a little warm for the dog, make sure you have a lot of water. Wind, it plays a lot of factor on the dog if they are looking for the bird. You want to bring your dog upwind, that they might smell the bird a lot sooner and a lot faster and they won't run so much farther away from you. If you're downwind the dog is going to want to run a little bit faster to catch the wind and the smell of the bird. So that means that they're going to be a little farther and they are going to travel more area and they are going to tired a lot more. So you must have water, the field is in good condition, and the weather and the dog can hunt all day long. But, bring a lot of water if the weather is warm. A nice cloudy day is a perfect day to hunt, a dog. Like today, is a nice day, it's about sixty-five degrees to sixty degrees, is perfect weather."
