"Hi. My name is Charlie Labarda. I am here with Expert Village; we're here to show you how to hunt with bird dogs. At this time we are going to talk about shock collars. Shock collars have got to be known; you have got to have knowledge to use them because you could ruin a dog or hurt the dog. These are just for safety precaution. If the dog are too far they have a level that they go up. They go from 1-9; the level of the intensity of the shocker. This particular one has got two type of shocker that you out on the dog, if you have two dogs you are running. You notice this one is a very small one. It doesn't have an antenna. This works very well within 100 yards. Like I said you must know how to use this. If you don't use it properly you could really ruin the dog or hurt the dog. So look at your guidebook for how to use a shock collar. This shock collar work for the safety of the dog. If they are far off and they can't hear you, they could run across the run road or in an area you don?t want them to go you just hit the button once and they?ll know the signal. Some have a tone, like a two tone. You push twice (its two toned) that means for them to head back. Or one tone means they go tot he left or the right. A couple of more tones means for them to walk or stay were they are for safety in an area you don?t want the dog to be at."
