Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Take a look at which files hold valuable data, whether an important resume` or the digits of your social security number stored in a Microsoft Word formatted file.

  2. Step 2

    Download Axcrypt, a free/open source third-party program that has no backdoors to it's safety wrapping. It encodes and encrypts file information into a 128-Bit TKIP+AES logarithm(s). You download Axcrypt by going to Axantum.com and clicking on the Download-link.

  3. Step 3

    Install Axcrypt and setup a password/code/phrase.

  4. Step 4

    Save the password.

  5. Step 5

    When setup is completely finished; find a vital file/document and right click it.

  6. Step 6

    Click on "Encrypt", it may ask you for a password or not if it was memorized.

  7. Step 7

    To decrypt for file usage, right click, and click on "Decrypt", it will ask you for your password.

  8. Step 8

    Enter your password to continue and gain access to the file. Please remember to re-encrypt when finished using the file! Safe computing!
