Step 1
Place your fingers of your fretting hand in a C major formation. The tab below shows you which fret you should play and on which string.
Index Finger=1 middle finger=2 ring finger=3 The numbers listed outside of the chord tab shows you which fingers to use on each fret.

Step 2
If a fret number is shown as 0, this means the string is played in open position. The scale is ascending and descending. Pluck each note as seen in the figure below

Step 3
After you have successfully played the C major scale. Practice playing the scale both ascending (low to high) and descending (high to low) until you have it mastered. Good luck!
