How to Make A Homemade Stuffed Crust Pizza Crust

Video Preview

Summary: So you have pizza every Friday night, but this Friday you want a different type of pizza. Put down the phone, you don't need to order a pizza, just go to the store and pick up a few items. You will enjoy this pizza, its new crust, and it won't take all night to cook. It takes the same amount of time that it would if you were to order a delivery pizza. So why not have something a little healthier and made specifically by you.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Preheat your oven to 450 F and grease your pizza pan.

  2. Step 2

Dissolve 1 Tbsp of Dry Active Yeast into 1 Cup of Hot Water.

  3. Step 3

Once the Yeast is dissolved, mix in the remaining ingredients (2 Tsp Sugar, 2 Tbsp Olive Oil, 1 1/2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour, 1 Cup All Purpose Flour).

  4. Step 4

Once all ingredients are combined, knead the dough until it is smooth. The great thing about this recipe is that the dough does not need to rise.

  5. Step 5

Now you can smooth the dough into the pan, leaving about an inch of dough hanging off the pan on all sides.

  6. Step 6

At the edge of the pan, sprinkle the shredded cheese or lay the cheese sticks around the outer edge of the pan (add as much as you want, the more the cheesier your pizza will be).

  7. Step 7

Fold the hanging edge of the dough over the cheese you just laid down.

  8. Step 8

Now you can finish your pizza. You might want to make your own sauce, and if so definitely try the recipe found in my resources by TheSeeker.

  9. Step 9

You will want to cook this for about 10-15 minutes until golden.

    ENJOY!
