Tips & Warnings:
- If you put great demend on your notebook computer,
sooner or hopefully later something will fail. If or rather
when this happens, so what. You can learn to upgrade
and repair any laptop.
- The first and most important precaution you should take is to remove any
and all ESD from your body. ESD is Electrical Static Discharge, the static
electricity that builds up in your body and clothes.
Step1
The front cover hidding the LCD Screen screws
Insert a thin object under the securing strip and lift it up.
Be careful, it may be very tight.Remove the securing strip.
This strip is commonly named the Front cover or the
front control panel
Step2
Be sure not to strip these small screws. Put the small screws in a cup
Remove two or four screws hidden under the cover and
carefully lift the LCD from the laptop On other models,
you will have to put your fingers between the mask and
the LCD scrren carefully release the mask latches.
Step3
Carefully disconnect the LCD Screen cable
With the LCD from the laptop, Disconnect the display
cable. Take note just how it was disconnected so you
won't have any problems reconnecting the cable later.
Step4
Carefully lift the Screen from the Laptop
To install a new LCD screen, simply follow these steps in
reverse order. Remember to take extra care removing
the Front Cover that hids the screen's screws
