Step1
The first thing that you will need to do to get your career going, is to find a job. You can do this in many different ways, from writing on your own site to finding companies and people that will give you work to do. One of the best places to start is right here on ehow!
Step2
Once you have your feet wet, you will need to keep going and keep pushing. It's really easy to just sit still and let people tell you what you are going to be doing. But, if you are really into being a writer, you have to keep challenging your own skills.
Step3
Once you have written for a few different people, you can use them as references for new clients that you may come across. Keep trying new things so that you can stay fresh and happy with your writing. Write what you know first and then what you just like after that. You will be so happy with what you are doing that you will not ever want to stop.
Step4
Don't give up on your dream. If this is what you want to do with your life, keep going! You can get there and you can be a great writer if you just get yourself up and out there.
