Step 1
Use either the compost or hair from another animal or human hair. Since moles are blind, they rely on their nose. The scent of another animal or human will keep them away from the area with the unfamiliar scent. Spread the compost throughout the area that you do not want the mole to show up. If you are unable to get compost then take either human or animal hair and bury it half way in the ground (so that it won't blow away).

Step 2
Another creative idea is to use kids pin wheels and place them throughout your garden. Not only will this give your garden a nice, fun look but the humm from the wind blowing through them will scare the moles away. Again moles rely on their other senses, since they are blind.

Step 3
Finally if these little guys will still not leave you might want to try a live trap. Your nearest county office should be able to provide these for you. Once you have trapped the mole, carefully place it in your vehicle and drive it far away, then release it.
