Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Cast on the number of stitches your project requires. (There is another article about casting on}

  2. Step 2

    Take the right knitting needle and place the point through the first stitch on the left knitting needle.

  3. Step 3

    Wrap the yarn counterclockwise around the needle which was just poked through.

  4. Step 4

    Pull the yarn down between the two needles.

  5. Step 5

    With the right needle pull the yarn through the stitch on the left needle.

  6. Step 6

    Pass newly made stitch over to right needle and let the left needle stitch drop down.

  7. Step 7

    Repeat these steps stitch by stitch and then row by row.
