"Hi I’m Daniel Keeper owner and operator of Zoo Keeper Exotic Pets in Austin, Texas and on behalf of Expert Village.com. and today we will be talking about some of the support things that you may need for your exotic pets like how to propagate your own food. Second to the cricket the most popular food item that we sell is the super worm. It is actually not a meal worm. It’s in a different genus but these are nice big juicy worms and they provide a good nutrient balance for your pets. If you have lots of pets that eat these things, you are better off to breed them yourself. How you do that is kind of interesting. It’s different than other meal worms. What you do is you start with some super worms that you can buy at your pet store. Unlike regular meal worms these worms will only reproduce or turn into a beetle so they can reproduce in individual containers. The other regular meal worms will turn into beetles within a community like this. These worms have to be separated into their own house."
