" Hi I'm Carolyn and I'm demonstrating on how to do toenails on a cat. On most of them you could see the vein. It is pink and I don't know if I can here it is pink and the clear part is what you cut off and if you can't see move it to like a dark spot or somewhere were you could see and i will say that I have rarely cut cats toenails so where they bleed. They are different then dogs and why I don't know but you just do it fast. It is like cracking a nut if you go slow and it hurts him and I'm all into this not hurting them because it is better for them and plus I can't hurt them. You could go faster but a little thing that I say if you can't see it don't do it. You know like I'm having trouble seeing his toenail so I got to get him were i can. This is not a razor you are not going to cut his toe off just a sharp piece of metal like when you put your finger in there and see that is not like you know going to cut his toe off. That is the best thing to do is get to know your equipment and that way you are not as afraid you know. I can't lets get you here where I can see. I firmly believe and people would disagree that when cats claw your furniture that they need there nails cut. Other people disagree but I have served mine and the ones that do that are who's nails need cutting. When I cut them they quiet. "
